Syahir says Dettol teammates were unconcerned with Pa'an filling in at centre-half for the victory against Spirulina.
With no Eng How, Song Wei, Shahir or Det, Pa'an stepped into central defence and impressed.
Syahir said: "Pa'an did ever so well last week as a goalkeeper and he did it again this week. He even scored the 2nd penalty kick for us. The manager, Sir Ome told Pa'an he might have to play centre-half if anything happened.
"It's unusual for us to be missing so many defenders but we've got so many players who can come and step in and give a performance and fill the gaps. "
