The Black Wolf Put Off The Flame Again!!!

For the 2nd time in this trimester, The Black Wolf have defeated Fire & Flames in a friendly match. The newly crowned MMU Cup Champ is defeated by 3 goals to 1. The 1st 2 goals come from the 1st half, with a good teamwork between the Black Wolf players. A 1-2 passing between Ali & Sharvin and a solo effort by friendly hitman Che Mad has proved that the team are still among the elite team. But after 4 sub in the 2nd half has cost the team1 goal from freekick. The 'punca' is Din (temp star player), where he has fouled the opponent 4 times to conceive 4 direct freekick. In he end, Sharvin has put the team back 2 goals ahead from his hardwork in front of the goal. It is a good game for both team and a new experience for the new scouted player.

FOE are Interfaculty Champion...

In the final game of the Interfaculty games, FOE has defeated FIT with 4 goals to 1. Some players are missing due to tiredness and injury but the game are a memorable 1 since for 3 years Foe have been in the finals but didn't manage to win. But this year, it is a different story. DeTToL FC vs NAKAL FC [5-2]

Its a reunion match for DeTToL fc legends for Syarp and Fahmy. With the help of newly scouted player Amir and Ali. Syakir (Syahir bro) also look very comfortable with the team. The Black Wolf has managed to ease past the opponent for a comfortable 5 goals advantage.
But to many laughing scenes have cost the team to conceded 2 goals.
This is the 1st time Syahir has played as a midfielder, and he showed a very performance for the team.Chemad as usual continued his scoring streak in the friendlies , but not in the real game.
The legends (Fahmy & Syarp) showed their true value to the team at the heart of defence. They are said to bring bad luck to the team but today they have proved their doubters wrong. Apa, Zhafri, Ali & skipper Noxs showed some tiredness in their gameplay, but still managed to survive for full time. They are exhausted since partcipatng in the Interfaculty game earlier today.
Several key players are missing. Adli has attend his relative wedding. Eng How busy working. Ah Keat, Lai and Roy busy hanging out at other place. Det and Anis has gone back to their hometown. Mamut busy dating. Big Joe has changed to UUM.Song Wei resting in Kota Kinabalu with family.
The blunder of the day is Fahmy send the ball straight to the sky eventhough he's just inches in front of the opponent goal post.

MMU Friendlies...

It is confirm that we would have a frenly match with nakalfc from mmu melaka. All players needed to come to the field early exactly at 4.45pm at the MMU rugby field. This is the 1st friendly match that we will have after our shock loss in the MMU cup. Plz inform the captain in u r not able to play.

Mantis saved by last minute goal against Dettol

MMU CUP 08/09 - Quarter Finals

A last-minute goal dashed Dettol's hopes of making it to the semi-final round of the MMU as they went down 0-1 to Mantis FC in MMU Stadium today. Dettol kicked off the game, and the Black Wolves were quickly on the attack, and a few minutes in Sharvin came close to the opener after a through ball from Det found the striker but his flick went agonizingly wide of the post. A minute later Syafazat had a good chance on goal but the midfielder put the ball bounce off the post. Dettol had a clear command over the possession of the ball at this stage, with the side pushing forward in search of a goal that would open up the game.

The first few minutes of the second half saw Mantis create more space on the left wing, and they used it to good effect, moving the ball well down the flank and whipping in crosses for the strikers. The Dettol defence dealt with the danger of aerial attacks well, and Mantis struggled to create any attempts at goal. Mantis were on a threatening counter attack, but Dettol's center back Eng How and Shahir did well to stop the move before the were able to reach the goal. The defenders did well towards the end to keep Mantis at bay. Where a goalless draw seemed the likely conclusion before Mantis's midfielder, Lan lit up with a goal in the last minute that brings Mantis FC to the semi-finals. It was a tough match. Both teams had their on-and-off moments of possession and energy, and a draw would’ve been more than fair for both teams.

Skipper and Goalkeeper are in doubt...
The Black Wolf skipper , Noxs is expected to miss the match because of ankle injury during a futsal tournament last weekend. Adli is also unsure for the starting lineup since having a fever n flu.

Secret weapon and striker out
Eng How is unlikely to take part in this match with ankle injury while Shawn, the 2nd goalscorer out with an infection.

Det the Dut is back.
Versatile midfielder, Det is fully fit after a week of rest from ankle injury. He is ecpected to be in the starting 11 for tomorrow's game.

Senior player missing again
Syarp is reported having a midterm and he could not play for the team. He hasn't show up either for the friendlies and match since he is very buy with his studies.

Anis eager to start
Anis is eager to start his 1st competative match with the black wolf since his arrival from Salsa FC last season. He has missed the 1st match because of family matter.

Selection headache
The manager has informed that she has find it so difficult to pick up the starting 11 for the quarter finals match since there are so many capable player in the team. She hope, who ever get selected will have to play well while the others have to just wait for their turn patiently.

Det the Dut: Debut

Det the dut from Dettol FC ended all speculation about where his future lies yesterday after he made his honorary debut for Dettol FC in their first MMU Cup match. Det has been linked with a number of high profile club, F&F being one of them. Rumors was flying in the MMU football circle when Det was seen with F&F gaffer, Aie in a recent trip to Johor Bahru. The talk between Aie and Det collapsed after the statement made by Dettol FC chairman, Amir Tevez saying that Det is going nowhere this term. The much sought after versatile defender was quoted saying that he will remain faithful to the club he pledged his honors to. " I will stay at this club at try my best to bring this club to the glory it deserves".
Det debut however was less than memorable after a quiet display in the second half. He came on to replace the efficient Big Joe at the heart of midfield. Spokesman from Det the dut fan club was quoted saying, " Det should be playing from the start. He had 3 touches the whole game. It was not a memorable debut for him. But in his defense, he is nursing an injury right now so it might take time for him to show his true self". Highlight of the game for Det was when he flicked the ball up and over a midfielder and slipped a through pass for Amir Tevez, the club utility man.

Today, it is a very bad day for the team. Out of 9 team members, Adli got a fever and Det out with ankle injury. So the skipper has to play as a goalkeeper.
The 1st 2 game everything is out of order. The heavy rain has interrupted the team flow. Everyone could not play fast passes and the surface is slippery. Our goal being penetrate from every angle and the result are too bad indeed.
Then at the 3rd game, Noxs suddenly burst out of nowhere. The skipper score twice from long distance effort and has lift up the team spirit. The team started to play like usual. Bayie and Che mad also manage to score from long shot and we got our 1st victory.
Unluckily, the 4th game didnt go our way either. Noxs early goal after teaming up with Ali is not enough to got us the 2nd win. Eventhough we control he game, all the shot are being inches away from the goal post.
The last 2 game , the team slowly showed their true nature. With Noxs borrowing gloves from the opponent, he has manage to save many shots by the opponent. He suddenly becomes a different person. Seems like the glove give him some power up throughout the game.Ali,Syahir,Bayie,Izmie and Che Mad also showed their worth. They have control the pitch with smooth passes but in the end , it is already too late. If Adli and Det is present, things would have been different.

Dettol F.C. cruised into the second round of the MMU Cup with an emphatic 2-0 victory at MMU Stadium. The Black Wolves raced into a 2-0 lead before 2nd half thanks to some clinical finishing and poor defending. Dettol appeared to be little danger in the early game when last man defender, Wan had a foul at the edge of the penalty box for challenges on Phlamze striker. He luckily picked up yellow cards instead of red for the last man challenges.

The first decent chance fell to Dettol after a powerful 15-yard run by Syahfazat. Hamka's first time ball was perfectly weighted for the run of Syahfazat into the inside left channel and his powerful drive beat out the goalkeeper. They increased their advantage 15 minutes later when Shawn gave Phlamze a glimmer of hope when he shot home from Syahfazat's cross a minute before the break in first-half stoppage time. Shawn cut in from the left before beating Phlamze's goalkeeper with a fierce drive.

Dettol made a huge seven men half-time substitution after confidence with their 2-0 lead, taking off Sharvin, Shawn, Apa, Wan, Hafiz and Big Joe and replacing them with Roy, Ah Keat, Chua, Det, Mamut and Che Mad. Second round start with Dettol played comfortly stable at the back but lack of attacks. Last substitution was made and Hamka was being replaced by Noxs to give some boost for the team. Phlamze was tested for the third time in turning away a swerving drive from Syahfazat after Noxs had advanced towards the box unchallenged, but last-gasp tackle from Phlamze's defender saves their team from bad to worst. Noxs had the 2nd chance to go for his goal but he unselfishly attempted to tee up Che Mad, who misjudged the shot . Last attack from Dettol again came from Noxs when Syahfazat precised cross headed by Noxs inches off the bar. It was not the captain's day. Great performance by Dettol in the second part of the game.

Last minute signing...

Dettol FC manage to swap the signing of Hamka (STAFF) at the last minute of the transfer deadline. He has plead come and take me message to Dettol FC captain and after a short chat, he is a Dettol FC player.

Sad day for Anis..

Due to a last minute problem, Anis has to go back to his hometown on family matters yesterday.He has taken the late night flight as will miss Dettol 1st today. It is reported that his mother is sick. The spokesman of Dettol send their regards to Anis and his family. We hope that she will recover soon and Anis could come back to the team as soon as possible. Wish us luck Anis.

Noxs attacks F&F

The management completely rubbishes the rumor bout Det joining F&F. The captain has issued an attack to F&F skipper about any approaches to the player itself. He said" That speculation is absolutely to-laugh-for. Det is a valuable player to the team and I'm sure he knows that. There is no way Det is gonna be a F&F player this term. I will used any neccessary means to keep him in the team".

MMU CUP 07/08

The return of tricky trio
Dettol FC hope they can reunite Syarp, Lai and Chua for Tuesday's MMU Cup clash with Phlamze. Chua's personal problem and Lai's in morality down have kept the pair apart in a starting line-up since the draw with Spirulina last season. With Syarp will be making a comeback return since missing the whole last season due to practical training.

Dettol to unleash secret weapon?
Noxs has revealed that Dettol FC will have special appearance defender that will strengthen their defends for tomorrow encounter against Phlamze. The defender has been missing the friendlies due to certain problems.But he will be available for the important clash.

New duo will prove themselves
The new signings, Det and Mamut mention earlier that they have not yet showed their full potential. There are plenty more to offer. They are new and need some time to understand the team. But the time will come and they hopefully it will come soon.

Noxs doubtful for Phalmze
Dettol's Noxs is a major doubt for Tuesday's Mmu Cup clash with Phlamze. The skipper who played full match against Black Emperor last week, having picked up a leg injury in a bruising encounter. He'll be doubtful for Tuesday.

Zhafri kept clean sheet

Dettol on loan goalkeeper Zhafri had an impressive game against Aspalela , with Mantis winning the game 1-0. It was a perfect start for his 1st game. All the best and good luck to Zhafri ! Make Dettol FC proud! :)

Legend Fahmy : DeTToL BOLEH!!!

After a short sms session with the captain, DettoL FC legend, Fahmy informed that he is shocked that Syarp is still playing in the team, although he supposed to retire early. He also added he misses the time when he played together in with the team. With many new players coming from various background, he hopes the team will be stronger. He joked, " Maybe before this, he is the one who bring bad luck to team, hahahha.." Lastly he wishes good luck to all the team members. He said " Ok guys, take care. Good luck in your matches. DeTTol boleh."

I'm Just A Regular Player....

During a post futsal match after the friendly, once again Che Mad has exploded. He has scored again and again. He is to good and sharp in front of he goal. It seems that his new shoes has given him more balance and grip today. We asked him, this will make him a star player in the future, but typical Che Mad as always replied 'I'm no star. I just do what I should do.Everyone will do the same if they were me". "This humble and super-shy attitude really do suits him. That's Che Mad for you.." commented a fan.

Noxs: We'll come on strong

Noxs is convinced Dettol fc will show their true strength in the MMU cup trimester. Despite recording their 2-3 lost against Black Emperor on Tuesday

The captain sees no reason why this trimester should be any different.

"I can only speak from experience'' he said. "We do have a problem at the defence since most of the defenders have classes today. We pick up the flow, and our performances tend to improve"

Dettol Fc failed to maintain their unbeaten friendly match record in 2008 with a defeat 2-3 at Shell Stadium. Black Emperor made a shocked when they scored 3 goals in 1st half with their stunning counter attacks and fast pace. Due to Syahir and Eng How absence, Apa had to switch his unlikely position at the heart of Dettol's defends partnering with Wan. They failed to perform gambling offside trap which was normally done expertly by Shamir. 2nd half saw Dettol performance improves in defends and attacks. Subtutution was made and so as tactical changes. Sharvin was replaced by Che Mad to match physical battle against the Emperor defenders and 1st choice goalkeeper Adli replacing Zhaf. Right back defender, Roy was replaced with Anis who played wide midfielder to add more attacking support. We attacks more this time with short-pass tactics played by the partnership of Noxs, Syahfzat and Anis. Different tactical in defends saw Black Emperor struggled to score more at 2nd half. Steady Adli unbeatable at the post. Guidance by Det ignoring offside trap and Apa effectively played deeper role made Dettol's defends rock solid. With Che Mad strong balancing power, he managed to score twice. It was a great match but our little comeback was too late.

For the 1st time the new team gather, combining old and new players.
The team manage to control the game in the 1st half, a good display by the defensive side [Roy, Ah Keat, Wan, Syahir] especially the goalkeeper Zhafri. A good performance form the midfielder eventhough there are still room for improvement. A sublime finish from Shawn for the 1st goal from the left side of the field and a powerful header from Big Joe, heading in the corner ball.

2nd half, the opponent show their true nature and manage to score back a goal but it is already to late.

INJURY......

Det has been the latest addition to the injury list.
He has injured his ankle during a futsal tournament in Klang during the weekend.
The doctors said that he should be back within a week and it means that he will miss today friendly match.
During an interview at the local clinic he said that "I will be at the field to support the team eventhough I cant play. That is a promise."

Adli and Eng How has put a pen on the paper for a new deal.....

Adli, a very good player who has risen rapidly since his arrival in the club and MMU, has agree to stay until 2 more years.

Where else, Eng How, the new wall at the heart of defense have sign a 1 year contract extension.

NEW TRANSFER....

The club have finally succeeded landing a versatile player Det from Tak Kesah Fc after waiting for almost 2 years with undisclosed fees. He will add a new experience in the club defensive side.

The club also have landed Mamut (85 Baby Gebu) and Anis (Salsa FC), during last trimester transfer session with an undisclosed fees.
