Match Report : Same Old Story, But Different Result.

Both team are playing for a piece of silverware and a final spot against Cool Utd. Dettol turn up with a lot of key players missing from the lineup. Eng How, Song Wei, Ammir and Det are among the list. Newly recruit Shahir also nowhere to be found. The opponent are lining up with their strongest line up as usual, as we know Spirulina always give 100% in all of their matches.

Skipper, Adli, has put Ah Keat at the left back, Apa right, and utility player Pa'an pairing up with Syahir in the centre. While Luqman, Faique, Tandi and Shahrome resume at their usual spot, with Anis again in the starting lineup at the right flank, and Syam playing at the left flank.

The Dettolians has hold most of the possession but unable to break through the opponent goal keeper. Shahrome, Tandi and Syam have all the chances during the game but the score line tell the real story.

2nd half, Anis has showed a little fatigues, and had to replace by Sharvin. A free flowing passes and shots enjoyed by both teams but until full time, it is still 0-0.

Another headache selection for Dettol as all their main penalty kick takers are unavailable. The is no Anis, Eng How, Song Wei, Ammir and Che Mad. And so, Luqman steps up to take the 1st kick and it is save. Skipper, Adli manage to save the opponent 1st ball, and Tandi and Pa'an continue the penalty kick by not making the same mistake as Luqman did. But credits to skipper, Adli, where he manage to save the other 2 penalty kicks by and both ball bounce at the goal post. Shahrome scored the last penalty to make it 3-0 and the team continue their journey to the final of Loser group.

It is said, Dettol is a lucky team when it comes to penalty kick, and today, it is a lucky indeed. Either it is a fact or myth, the outcome is the most important part. It will surely boost their morale before playing in the final and a early preparation to defend their Champion League next season even though it is very difficult.
