Dettol midfielder Darren Luqman & defender Syam has paid a glowing tribute to Ammir' influence at the club.
Luqman says for all of Ammir' success, he never talks himself up, but he did joke it around.
The Terengganu native told MMUFC: "Some of us have achieved a little bit of success, but Ammir blows us all out of the water.
"We’re all jealous of him and we want more of what he’s had. We want to match his contribution to the team. He’s got the perfect balance. He’s a healthy man and he can enjoy himself, but he doesn’t throw it in anyone’s face.
"He’s not in the papers every week for the wrong reasons or them daft magazines. He’s a dedicated family man, a dedicated professional and a legend here at Dettol.
"He’s played more games and had more assist than anyone in the club’s history. It was great to have someone like that here when I started playing here. I looked up to him and saw that there was no ego. You have an ego at this club and it gets kicked straight out of you.
Syam added, "Some players come in a little bit confident, but it’s out of them within a few weeks. He has been a great help for the team and he's still playing. He often motivate the players off the field but on the field, he is a strict. But nowdays, he has become a little bit calm, and that does help us a lot. "
