The Black Wolf could be without skipper Noxs and left back Shahmir as DeTTol fc chase top spot in Group D when the league starts on Monday.
Despite playing with the rest of the first-team on Today at MMU rugby field, Noxs is still feeling the hip injury he sustained against Wizurai and may not be risked with an important game against Fire & Flames looming. Shahmir, meanwhile, has been ruled out of today's match altogether with an ankle injury.
“Noxs is doubtful and Shahmir is out,” the manager said at her pre-match press conference. “Those are the only injury problems we have. Shahmir should be ready for 2nd match, but we’ll have to see how Noxs is.”
The good news is that Hafiz is now fit enough to start, but Shea plans to use the 19-year-old midfielder from the bench as she continues to ease her vintage midfielder back after thigh injury in December.
