Season Review

As the season ends, the club manage to work their way through the elite rank among the teams in MMU, clinching the 3rd spot in the Super league. The Champion is still Victory, reigning their championship from last year Super League. Runner up, Black Emperor still unlucky to sit sit at the 2nd spot, after last season Champion league, at the same spot. But their attacking force are undeniable,with 10 goals and renewing the MMU record of scoring 7 goals in a match.

The Dettolians are also with their own record, achieving a 11 unbeaten games in competition match. Hence it is unknown how many unbeaten games are actually been recorded in the MMU league since it was establish in 2005, accomplish by previous teams such as Kayu fc and Tak Kesah fc.

The club manage to get 8 points, with 2 wins, 2 draws and a lost( the last game that ended the unbeaten streak), less 4 points from the reigning champion Victory. It is a very good achievement from a team consisting half new young players and senior players and a so-called mediocre team. If the team could maintain this performance, surely the mediocre title will be forgotten by others.

The Antiseptic are lack of goal scoring, only manage to score 1 goal in each occasion but the attacking chances are indeed, too many. According analysis, they would manage to score 2 or 3 goals but, lack of maturity in front of the goal post tell the true story. With Shahrome and Andi emerge from the ranks of the youth players and the comeback of the injured Sharvin and ex-skipper Noxs , playing in his odd position (as a striker), the goals are likely to be coming in the next season.

The midfielders are the best position in the team, young protege, Luqman has prove that he is the best young midfielder in MMU, since receiving the award last season. With the addition of Faiq, a tough tackling player, made a major boost towards the team. Che Mad and Reza are as usual, a commanding player with maturity on the field. A player that the youngsters look onto. Winger, Anis has become a regular 1st player this term, improving himself with several unexpected shot towards goal and decisive crosses.

The defenders are the main strength in the team (excluding what happen in the last game). Lead by the newly promoted skipper, Adli, they only conceded 1 goal until the final match with reigning champion Victory. Syahir has improve a lot, and coop well without the temporarily unavailable Eng How. Sham has properly slotted in the space for Eng How. Pa'an and Son Wei has proved his maturity and is strong at the defensive line while Apa and Aziwan just added strength to the team.

Next season, the likes of Eng How and Daron will be back to strengthen the team. The fight to stay in the elite ranks in MMU football team will still be the main objective for the Dettolians. Old rivals, CYBER HEAT and 2009 MMU Cup Champion, FIRE&FLAMES will be joining reigning champion VICTORY,2009 champion league champion DETTOL FC, BLACK EMPEROR and STAFF in the MMU SUPER LEAGUE 2010. Only hardwork and consistency would let them prevail in the elite group and prove to others that this team is not a fluke. A lot of training and progress need to be done before achieving this. But as old people said, together we are strong. The club already have the quality and quantity to build their status and legacy. Only time will determine the outcome.A promising future indeed for the youngsters.

The Club is the 2nd Runner up

Dettol is clearly the 2nd runner up in the Super league standings with 8 points. Staff is at the 4th place. The winner of the group is still not confirm since Victory is yet to play their final game. If they win it, they will keep the title, but a lost or draw will automatically make Black Emperor the Champion.

The so-called mediocre, manage to stick themselves in the ranks of elite teams to stay in the Super league by preventing Staff to build their legacy ;Salsa and Seryes will relegated to 1st division. This will be the 2nd major silverware for the Antiseptic after last season capture of the Champion league title.

A promising future is ahead of the 2nd generation of the Dettolians.

Post Match Interview : Ex-skipper Noxs tell his views on the team

After the game, the reporters has interview the ex-skipper who at last made his cameo comeback to the team after missing out 4 games recently. This is the interview.

Soalan: Macam mana game tadi?
Noxs :
Saya amat berpuas ati ngn pencapaian mereka sume. Mereka bermain dlm keadaan yg berterabur pada separuh mase pertama, tp selepas itu, mereke control game. Tapi sayang, byk peluang disia-siakan.

Soalan: Apa pendapat anda tentang team sekarang?
Noxs:
Saya rase, tidak, saya yakin sume pemain muda ini mampu menjadi lebih hebat pada mase akn dtg. Anda boleh nampk kesungguhan mereka terutama di kalangan pemain muda separti Aziwan,Syam,Shahrom dan Luqman. Tetapi, mereka masih kekurangan pengalaman. InsyaAllah, mereka akan menjadi matang secara perlahan2

Soalan: Adakah anda tidak berpuas ati kerana tidak dimasukkan lebih awal?
Noxs:
Tidak langsung. Saya menghormati keputusan captain iaitu Adli. Pada pendapat saya, walaupun saya adalah bekas kapten, itu bkn satu keistimewaan atau alasn ut menjadiakn sy pemain utama. Segala keputusan atas padang dibuat oleh Adli kerana itulah yg saya tugaskan kpd dier sblm saya nk retire dulu.

Soalan: Mengapa anda kembali untuk bermain bersama Dettol?
Noxs:
Saya tak pernah meninggalkan pasukan ini. Saya hya pergi buat sementara waktu utk menguruskan perkara peribadi. Lagipun, setelah mendgr laporan drpd manager Sir Ome, sy rase amat bersemanagt utk kembali menyarung jersi Dettol dan bermain bersama2 pemain2 muda ini.

Soalan: Ini adalah kali pertama anda tidak menjerit di atas padang dan juga kali pertama anda bermain di posisi Striker. Sile beri komen.
Noxs:
Buat ape saye menjerit? Zaman itu dh berlalu. Saya bkn lagi kapten pasukan, saya x perlu bertindak sebagai kapten. Sy hanye perlu bermain mengikut arahan manager dan kapten Adli sahaja. Saya x kisah bermain di mana2 posisi, lagipun saya dh jd pemain veteran. Saya mungkin x selincah dulu, tapi sy masih mampu melakukan cubaan2 yg berbahaya di depan pintu gol berdasarkan pengalaman saya. Itu lah yg saya lakukan dlm game tersebut.

Soalan: Selama ini, anda adlah pengambil utama sepakan percuma di dalm pasukan ini. Menagapa anda tidak ambilsepakan tersebut dlm game menentang Victory?
Noxs:
Sepanjang pemergian saya, saya sudah listkan dan inform Adli mane2 player yg blh ambil sepakan tersebut. Jadi saya mau mereka sepak bergilir2. Itu lah yg berlaku. Kita dpt lihat Che Mad,Song Wei, Reza, Anis, Luqman dan Faiq bergilir2 mengambil sepakan percuma tersebut. Itu adalah sebagai satu taktik demi pasukan ini sendri.

Soalan: Apakah harapan anda terhadap pasukan ini dan pandangan mengenai masa depannya?
Noxs:
Saya akan trus bermain dgn team ini selagi termampu. Season depan, Eng How dan Daron akn kembali semula. Kita mengharapkan Pa'an dapat menyelesaikan mslh permit beliau supaya dapt trus bermain bersama team ini. Secara jujurnya, team ini akn menjadi semakin kuat jika semanagt kesukanan di dlm pasukan dpt dikekalkan. tetapi mereka perlu trus berlatih dan berusaha dgn kuat jika mereka mau terus bersaing dgn team2 yg elit. Jgn cepat berpuas ati dgn pencapaian yg sedia ada krn ia xkan berkekalan. Saya, Che Mad dan Adli akan trus membimbing pasukan ini selagi terdaya.

The End of Unbeaten Streak

As the final game for Dettol fc yesterday,which saw The Antiseptic lost 1-3 holders Victory, it also ended the unbeaten streak started last season.

A recorded 11 straight unbeaten games is a fine record in the MMU history. Only a few teams has recorded such record such as Kayu fc, Tak Kesah FC and Victory. Dettol fc has proved themselves with the qualities of new and old players in the process to lift the mediocre status from the club.

A lost but still a lot of positive result. The young players show a lot of enthusiasm and energy but lack of experience. As a comparison, Victory is blessed with this aspect and it determine the result of the game.

The skipper also has prove himself as the best goalkeeper in the league by saving the penalty but an un-experience defenders has caused trouble for him.

The ex-skipper also made a cameo comeback with several shots on and of target, but couldnt help his team to get back in the game. The lack of communication also has been a major problem, since there are no actual person who guide the players like the ex-skipper did before. lastly, finishing is still a big subject towards the striker. If only the forwards manage to be more effective in front of the goal, it would has kill the game early as statistics shows that The Antiseptic has more shots on and of target and in terms of possession.

There are still a lot of area need to be improve in order to get the team together and more stronger in the future. The team seems to be on the right path; to pursuit the dreams to be among the best in MMU.

Ulasan Perlawanan Dettol mlw Victory

Cyberjaya 18 August - Hari tidak selalu terang. Kadang kala mendung, hujan turun dan banjir. Itulah yang terjadi kepada Dettol ketika melawan Victory dimana Victory telah dapat menamatkan rekod tanpa kalah Dettol.

Separuh masa pertama amatlah goyah buat Dettol apabila ketidak seimbangan permainan di padang membuat Dettol terbolos 2 gol hasil jaringan Pak Arab Victory. Semua seperti tidak mengena dengan Dettol agak rapuh dihadapan penyokong tempatan. Bahagian pertahanan kiri dan kanan telah dimakan oleh Pak2 arab. Tapi berkat usaha dan doa para penyokong dettol untuk melihat Dettol bersaing semula membuatkan pemain2 bermain bermati matian untuk mengekori rentak lawan. Syukur hasil bentesan kaki dan lakonan mantap Sharvinan membuat Dettol bangkit menggegarkan jaring lawan dengan tendangan penalti untuk menjadikan kedudukan 2 - 1. Tidak dilupakan keajaiban Bobot Kapten Dettol menyelamatkan penalti selepas bola terkena tangan Syahir. Siapa akan dapat melupakan larian pantas Syahir seperti Unta mengejar tuannya bagi menghalang jaringan lawan.

Separuh masa kedua bermula dengan lebih baik dimana bola berpihak kepada kedua dua belah pihak. Pemain semua begitu semangat bagi menjaring kan gol penyamaan. Malang tidak berbau. Bola bulat bergolek laju menerjah gawang Dettol menjadikan kedudukan 3-1. Tapi Dettol tidak mengalah. Mereka terus berlawan. Semangat mereka seperti mengambil supp paper. Semua tidak mahu gagal. Meraka terus berlawan habis habisan. Percubaan terakhir Che Mat dari luar kotak penalti kiri tersasar sedikit dan lipatan basikal rantai putus Amir teves mampu ditangkis pihak lawan.

Credit harus diberikankan kepada Dettol kerana sememangnya Fizikal and Kelajuan pemain-pemain Victory perlu diberi pujian. Sepanjang musim ini Dettol bermain lebih baik. Penuh dengan team work dan semangat. Taktikal lebih bagus. Hanya nasib sahaja tidak meyelebelahi pasukan.

An exciting match between last year MMU Super league's champion against last year MMU Champion league's champion. It is a must win match for both team in order to pursuit their silverware in the final game for the 2009/2010 campaign.

A shocking lost to last season finalist, Black Emperor in the previous outing surely has put the reigning champion, Victory under pressure. And if they lost in this match, it surely threaten their chance to reign their title.

Where else, for the Antiseptic, a win will surely boost their morale and chance to clinch their next silverware and put other teams on alert. As their 2nd generation of young players emerge out of no where, but under supervision from the pioneer Noxs, they have become a strong team.But the status mediocre are still chanted to them, since most people said their last success was a fluke and rather based upon luck. Whether luck or not, the team has thoroughly prove their simple a good team, as their performance as their best prove and are hoping to continue their unbeaten run. Regardless any comment, the Antiseptic has prove that they can play a nice football and their aim is obvious, to win all major trophies in MMU football competition and exist as a team as long as possible with a blend of old and new players.

The ex-skipper is also said to make his comeback after early retirement in this final game. He has missed the game against Cool United because of transportation problem. His flight is said to be delay during the match day. Either he's playing or not, the 2nd generation of Dettol fc will surely fought hard in order to once again, proving that they can beat the odds.

A late Graduation wish

It is still not to late to congratulate our ex manager Shea and striker Hanafi for their convocation last week. After a long fought at MMU, both has achieve success and stepping into the next phase of their life.

The club would want to wish an express of gratitude towards Shea for being the manager for 2 1/2 years. Although she may not contribute to the tactical management of the team, but she did contribute alot in increasing the players mentality and keep the high spirit within the team. Her shouting outside the pitch is the most memorable one for the team.The team surely misses her encouragement this season.

As for Hanafi, although he has just played only 1 season with the team, it has brought a different characteristic at the forward. His existence has prove the team will and the club has clinch their 1st major title with his contribution.

Clean sheet record ended, Unbeaten streak continues

The Antiseptic has continue their unbeaten run to the tally of 11 games since last season in the league (though they lost once in a friendly against Fire & Flames earlier this season). The previous game with Cool United ended with a draw and it broke the 3 games of clean sheet but their unbeaten run continues. The final game against Victory will be a hard one, a hard to win and also a hard game to maintain the unbeaten streak.

Rivals slip

It is a good news for the Antiseptic after their draw with Cool United. Else where, main rival Black Emperor also draw their match with Staff. A 1-1 result is good enough to put more pressure on both sides to compete for the title in the Super league this season.
Victory's game is postpone due to rain. So both Dettol and Black Emperor have to wait to see the result.
Hence, the last game for all 3 main contenders will surely determine who will win the title. Dettol will go against Victory and Cool United will have to create a miraculous result to beat Black Emperor.

Dettol vs Cool United update

Cyberjaya - It was a rainy day. The pitch is wet and sloppy everywhere. Faique and Song Wei is missing from the line up for the match. The first half both team were energetic, with the formation of 4-4-2 Dettol were pushing Cool United all the way. The wet pitch has change the flow of the game. Passes are stopped, the ball is slippery but still, The Antiseptic posses the ball but still there were no good finishing.

A lot of the players slip[ed and stumbled. In the end, Reza Mah has opened his goalscoring account for the Antiseptic. It is a enjoyable moment for the Iranian midfielder who is on his 2nd season with the Antiseptic. Then, the game slowly change it course.

Second half - the first 15min, The Antiseptic still manipulating the game. But the player old habit occured again. They lost their focus and assume that they were winning. They were punish with an equalizer from the opponent to make it 1 all. It ended the 3 game of clean sheet for the defensive position (245 minutes).

The last 15min Dettolian keep on pushing the opponent but there is no luck. In the end, the game ended with a draw. A point for each team and still the qualities of the referee is a major issue.

After a short break, the league start again with the 2nd half of the season. A hungry opponent is likely to be another obstacle for the Antiseptic to clinch their winning streak and continue their unbeaten record.

Cool Utd has not won any of their matches this season and they are surely want to win this match more than anyone else. A triple series of losing will surely has cause them to really wanted at least some point in the league in order not to be at the bottom of the league.

Where else, The Antiseptic is eyeing to maintain their momentum and keep on the pressure towards other main title contenders such as Black Emperor and Victory. The so-called mediocre team still on hot pursuit the league leaders Black Emperor with same points but the The Emperor has far more superior goal difference.

The league are already reaching it climax stage and any mistake from the teams will surely benefit the others.

Three horse race

The MMU Super league 2009/10 is taking its mid break. All 3 main contenders for the Super league title walked away with a solid performance and win against their respective opponent.

Last season finalist, Black Emperor has thrashed Seryes FC with an unbelievable scoreline of 7-0 and are back at the top of the table. This is a rare score line for the MMU football scenery. It is a new record. The last record with similar goals are last year Super league, Wizurai vs Aspalela with 6-0. The Emperor are surely has become the favourite to clinch the title.

The reigning champion also bagged a 2-0 win against Cool Utd. Currently, they are in 3rd position in the league. Dettol fc also manage to get a narrow win but with a very good performance. They are still having problem to score but not upon creating chances and ball possession.

The 2nd stage of the Super league are surely becoming more intense as all three teams are in big pressure to maintain their winning streak. A lost will be an disadvantage for 1 team and advantage for others.
