Time To Focus On Studies...
As the high flying season of the Antiseptic this term, after the so called mediocre team has become the Champion, things are back as usual for most of the players. As the final exam is here, all the players are working hard to achieve another victory that is in their studies of course. The next season will started on July and that is also one of their concern. What will happen next term? The manager has already started to plan for the future. Even the ex skipper,Noxs also has give it all to the new skipper, Adli the list of potential new players. We will just have to wait and see.Good luck Dettolians.....

Noxs happy with quality of DeTTol colleagues
Dettol star Noxs acknowledges that the current crop of talent at the Antiseptic is one of the best teams he has played in.
"I wouldn't swap any of our players for anyone in any other team, they totally deserve to win " he said.
"I look at other players around the universities and then look at the ones in our dressing room and I'm delighted to be in there.
"I hear a lot of people talking about various players being the best in MMU but I am very happy with ours."
"It's not every time that we've won the Championship, but todays memorable moment will last forever. I knew we could win it. I never stop pushing the players to continue. There is always chances to win until the referee blew the whistle. And I'm glad that I believe in it."
"Regarding the jeers during my penalty kick, I'm not mad at all. Those jeers will only help lifted my focus and passion. Thats how I am as a player. The more you mock me, the more the more courage and spirit I will have. It will only boost me and motivate me to play better. The result is obvious."

Ain't "R" Sweet?
I thought I am already in university.
Today I found out that apparently, I'm still in highschool.
When my team's skipper, Noxs was going to take the penalty kick... (believe this!)
the stadium was filled with a chorus of 'booos' and jeerings.
It wasn't just insulting and demotivating, it was MEAN.

I know. I didn't believe it either. It was like a scene straight from some teen movies about school bully. Can you say, MEAN GIRLS?! Oh, wait! There were mostly boys there.
Now, I have no idea where all these kids came from but I seriously thought that we left such kind of behavior back in high school. I guess some people just never grow up. Let's hope that when they are in the PTA meeting, complaining about some other kids bullying their precious child, they would remember what they did today.
However, just like in the movies...
Noxs succeeded with the penalty kick and sealed the team's victory =)
Congratulation, Champions!
Ain't it sweet?
Anyone for a second helping?

Match Preview : Emperor to conquer or Antiseptic for killer
MMU Champion League Final 08/09
Match: DeTToL fc vs Black Emperor
Date : 6 May 2009
Day : Wednesday
Venue : Stadium of Sloop, MMU Stadium
Time : 5pm- 7pm
One a top four team, the other a mediocre. A top gun vs an underdog. A totally exciting game between both rivals. The last time they meet is early this season during a friendly match. On that day, Black Emperor defeated Dettol by 3-2.
But now, both team are a different team, a better team to be correct. Black Emperor has the upper hand as a strong team with strong physical and speed as most of their players are rugby players. Where else, Dettol are labeled with a mediocre status, but have proven their doubters wrong. Their spirit, determination, hard work and teamwork has gain them a new status, a fierce team, an underdog to beat as their beat all of the strong team and level the other such as Wizurai,Mantis,Cyber Heat and Fire and Flames.
Black Emperor will totally rely on their experience midfielder fauzan and Syahfazat while their defence is co-ordinated by Syam. The Antiseptic, in he other case, will lead by their retiring skipper Noxs, with the energy of the youth Luqman, Reza and Shawn. They will also rely on Chinese duo Song Wei and Eng How and their next skipper Adli.
Black Emperor has failed to score since in he knock out round, only winning it by penalties but the Antiseptic has scored 4 goals during the knock round. Defensively, Black Emperor are more stable , didnt concede any goal, but The Antiseptic has concede 3 goals.
An unpredictable match, but as the Antiseptic skipper is retiring, it would be a memorable one for him and the team if they win it. A must win game for him, the team and for the players since it is their 1st major final after 4 years.

Outstanding Reza ready for Black Emperor
Midfield will be at the centre of Shea's thinking as she prepares her tactics for Wednesday's final of the MMU Champions League 08/09.
The Antiseptic boss was full of praise for Reza, Luqman, Abit, Noxs and Anis after their graft and craft in the middle of the park helped the Antiseptic to initially dominate and ultimately beat many top teams this season.
All five were rewarded with a rest before the Antiseptic travelled to Stadium of Sloop on Wednesday.
"The midfield worked so hard against other opponents in the tournament, we decided to rest the five of them," said Shea after last week match.
Reza and Luqman is also being tipped to succeed the midfield position in the long term. The duo impressed Dettol manager said at Sunday's press conference: "I think they are going to stay there as a key player for the team, that’s my opinion. I think both of them are outstanding talent-got fantastic speed and strength."
The boss believes the Iranian and Anak jati Terengganu can get even better as they gets more big games under their belt - "Luqman is still only 19 where else Reza is only 24."
Shea also awaits Reza's and Luqman's first Dettol goal after a few games but her press conference quip of “We’re all lighting candles for that!" suggests that's not a serious concern!

Noxs: Fight to the finish
DeTTol will take no advantage to the Stadium of sloop on Wednessday as a mediocre team, but Noxs a.k.a. Ammir Tevez says the Antiseptic have no intention of merely sitting back and defend throughout the game.
Instead, he says, DeTTol need to stick to the principles of attacking football that have served the team so well in recent years especially this season.
“We have to go down to the field and play like we did in the first game until we reach at this stage,” he said. “We’ll have no problems then.”
DeTTol have beaten all the odds and win all their game with scoring in every game efore their could progress to the final.
And Noxs has hinted the Antiseptic might chase that valuable goal 1st in the first half.
“We’re in a good position but we’re under no illusions. Black Emperor are a top team and they’re capable of scoring goals.
“We’ll have to look after their match-winners – Fauzan, SyahFazat, Syam if he’s fit, – but you also have to stamp your own authority on the game because we’ve got match-winners as well.
“In the knock out round we went out with the intention of getting the crowd going and playing at a quick tempo. We’re at our best when we play with a quick tempo so that’s what we tried to do.
“Like I said, if we play to the ability we did last week and the previous week, then we’ll have no problems.”
Noxs will made his final appearance for the Antiseptic in the final and it also will be hi testimonial game.
"It will be a memorable one if only we could win the final and if i could also score. I hope the supporters will do their part by cheering the team, and surely it will make me and of course the team more motivated.
"It’s been a great season, and you could well say an incredible one" he said.
" I hope we will win the Championship and be a part of MMU history."

He then immediately call Ammir to confirm it.Then the answer is......
Is this the reason why he will not join his team after this season? Is this the main reason why next week match going to be a testimonial match for him? All of this question can only be answer by him. The speculation that he quit football because he wants to be the actor is still a mysteries that can only be solve by him.
